On the 17th of October, 2025, the CIDJAP Vocational and Technical Training Centre (VTTC) Olu Aka Di Mma, Coal Camp, Enugu, organized a staff training session on Work Ethics and Safety. The training, which took place at the VTTC premises, was facilitated by Mrs. Nneka Adah and Mr. Maurice from the Industrial Training Fund (ITF), Enugu Area Office.
The session aimed to enhance staff understanding of professional conduct, workplace discipline and adherence to safety standards within a technical and vocational environment. The facilitators emphasized the importance of maintaining a culture of responsibility, teamwork, punctuality and integrity among staff while ensuring that safety procedures are consistently observed in workshops and offices.
Through interactive discussions and practical examples, participants gained more insights into identifying workplace hazards, preventing accidents and promoting ethical behavior that aligns with CIDJAP’s mission of fostering human development through skills training.
The training was impactful and well-received, as staff members expressed appreciation for the knowledge shared and are committed to applying the lessons learned in their daily work. The session ended with a group photograph and a resolution to uphold more professional ethics and safety as vital pillars for effective service delivery at VTTC.
