He was ordained a Catholic Priest on 8th of December (Feast of the Immaculate Conception), 2018. He is an alumnus of the Prestigious College of the Immaculate Conception (CIC) Enugu. Rev. Fr. Ambrose is a native of Ebe in Udi LGA of Enugu State.
He obtained degrees both in philosophy (B.A and B.Phil) and theology (B.TH) from Bigard Memorial Seminary, Enugu, an affiliate of the pontifical Urban University, Rome.
Rev. Fr. Ambrose Okwuchukwu Ofodile, is currently the Deputy Director, Catholic Institute for Development, Justice and Peace, (CIDJAP) Enugu and the chaplain of Holy Rosary College, HRC, Enugu.
Fr. Ambrose has published the following books: On the Way to Perfection (2006), Chosen From Among Men (A Call to Priesthood and Victimhood)(2018), Sunday Vespers and other Catholic Prayers (2021), Return to Motherland (Yet to be published).
Fr. Ambrose is the moderator/author of a daily reflection on the gospels, DEI VERBUM GOSPEL DEVOTIONAL (DVGD).
He is a social and political analyst, retreat moderator, a moral crusader and a teacher. He is passionate about accompanying the young people with the gospels as they grow up. He loves reading, writing and travelling.
