Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike Delivers Lecture at Peaceland University International Conference

On 4th December 2025, Peaceland University, Enugu, hosted its prestigious International Conference where Msgr. Prof. Obiora Francis Ike, Founding Director of CIDJAP, delivered a compelling keynote lecture titled “Policies for Progress: Reimagining Education System for a Tech-Driven Future.”

In his lecture, Msgr. Prof. Ike called for a holistic and balanced education system that goes beyond paper qualifications to address the fundamental needs of humanity, such as skill acquisition, moral development, and integrity.

He stressed that true education must integrate equity, ethics, and practical knowledge, enabling graduates to contribute meaningfully to society in an increasingly technology-driven world. He also urged Peaceland University to take the lead in promoting an education model rooted in innovation, values, and human dignity, one that nurtures both intellect and character.

In recognition of his lifelong contribution to education, ethics, and human development, Peaceland University presented Msgr. Prof. Ike with the distinguished “Professor of Excellence” Award, acknowledging his visionary role as one of the founding inspirations behind the establishment of the institution.
