The Institute for Peace and Conflict Resolution (IPCR) paid an advocacy visit to the Catholic Institute of Development Justice and Peace (CIDJAP), Enugu, to explore opportunities for strategic collaboration on future projects.
The opening formalities were led by Dr. Ebele Odinachi, Project Director of CIDJAP, who warmly welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for their interest in partnering with the Institute. She highlighted CIDJAP’s commitment to peacebuilding, justice and sustainable development initiatives.
The IPCR delegation was led by its Head, Dr. Olalekan Babatunde, who thanked the CIDJAP team for the warm reception despite the short notice of the visit. He stated that the purpose of the engagement was to explore possible areas of partnership, particularly around future projects themed “The World at a Crossroad.” He further noted that the team was also present to share copies of their newly published academic magazine, a product of IPCR’s partnership with China, as part of efforts to promote research-based dialogue and global cooperation.
During the visit, copies of the magazine were formally presented to CIDJAP. The delegation was also taken on a brief tour of the Institute’s library facilities.
The closing formalities were led by Fr. Chidi, Deputy Director of CIDJAP, who expressed sincere appreciation for the visit and affirmed that CIDJAP looks forward to a fruitful partnership with IPCR.
