Opening Formalities:
The meeting commenced with opening formalities led by Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike, who warmly welcomed all staff members present. He then invited Sr. Colette Ezeasor to lead the opening prayer, committing the deliberations of the meeting into God’s hands.

Summary of Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike’s Comments:
Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike appreciated all departments for their dedication and reminded everyone of the significance of the upcoming CIDJAP 40th Year Anniversary, describing it as a moment of reflection, renewal and gratitude to God for four decades of impactful service. He emphasized the need for early and strategic planning to ensure a successful celebration.
He further divided the CIDJAP @ 40 Planning Committee into the following sub-committees to enhance coordination and efficiency:
▪ Central Coordinating Committee
▪ Publication Committee
▪ Accommodation Committee
▪ Food & Drinks Committee
▪ Logistics and Transport Committee
▪ Liturgy, Music & Entertainment Committee
▪ Correspondence Committee
▪ Public Relations & Visa Committee
▪ Conference Committee
▪ Film, Photo, and Documentary Committee
▪ CIDJAP Anniversary Committee
Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike encouraged teamwork among staff that will be in the committees, urging them to maintain excellence, transparency and accountability in their assignments. He also addressed the 2026 Budget and departmental projections, emphasizing that all departments must align their plans with CIDJAP’s vision and submit realistic budgets that support sustainability and growth. He called for innovation, collaboration and measurable impact in all CIDJAP projects and programs.
Report Presentation:
The Heads and Coordinators of various arms of CIDJAP presented their departmental reports. Each presentation was followed by constructive feedback, observations and guidance from Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike, who commended the efforts of all units and encouraged continuous improvement in service delivery and reporting.
Meeting Outcomes:
▪ Submission of 2026 Budget: On or before 21st November, 2025, for vetting.
▪ Budget Approval: 1st December, 2025.
▪ Meeting with all CIDJAP Religious Members: 6th December, 2025.
▪ CIDJAP Christmas Break: 17th December, 2025 – 13th January, 2026.
▪ Resumption for CIDJAP Academy 2025/2026 Session: 11th November, 2025.
▪ CIDJAP 40th Year Anniversary: To hold on 5th April, 2026 (a one-week program) instead of the usual 4thOctober.
▪ Approval Granted: For commencement of the Impact Analysis of CIDJAP @ 40 and preparation of the 2025 CIDJAP Annual Report.
▪ 2025 Christmas Card: Assigned to Mr. David to be designed and printed before December, 2025.
▪ Staff Salary Increment and Promotion: To be based strictly on staff performance as will be reflected in the ongoing staff evaluation exercise.
A.O.B (Any Other Business):
Sr. Maryglory Ofojebe expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the CIDJAP family for their presence and support during her Silver Jubilee Celebration. She presented gifts to the staff, which were received by Sr. Marius on behalf of the management and shared among staff members.
Closing Formalities:
The meeting concluded with closing formalities led by Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike, who called on Rev. Fr. Ambrose Ofodile to lead the closing prayer. Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike then gave the final blessing, bringing the meeting to a graceful close.
