Vocational Education

CIDJAP has progressed its effort toward self reliance, self development and improved capacity for self employment for youths in skills and career which add value to the society. This has been possible with erection of Oluaka dim ma Vocational Technical Training Institute in the year 2002 and the Nazareth Skills Center for women and skills training in catering and cosmetics.

Within the periods under review, these centers have added value to lives of people especially youths. Oluaka dim ma graduated 17 young men and 2 young women who were trained in welding/metal works, wood works and finishing, electrical wirings and house hold installations, metal machining and elementary automobile works whose department is fully poised for training with standard equipments. Nazareth Skills center recorded 12 graduate women who are in the society impacting in making lives better.

This arm thus serves as a strong human capacity development for the society where skill are developed and jobs created.
