In the month of October the Kelkheim Parish did something extraordinary to support the children in the CIDJAP Sponsorship list.
The Mayor of Kelkheim initiated a “Repair cafe” programme where people brought their broken things that were repaired by retired craftsmen. The items were later sold and the proceed was given to CIDJAP to support the Sponsorship Programme.
One of the coordinators, Wolfgang Hau used the opportunity to create awareness on the CIDJAP Sponsorship Programme. This made some sponsors to pick interest in the work of CIDJAP.
The sponsored children and the staff of CIDJAP are grateful to all our partners in Kelkheim especially to the Mayor of the city, who initiated the process.
