On May 7th, 2025, the Founding Director of CIDJAP, Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike made an official visit to the Ofuobi Africa Centre to inspect the ongoing renovation work at the facility.
He was accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising the Deputy Director of CIDJAP, the Director of Projects, the Director of Administration, the Accountant, and a member of the management staff. The purpose of the visit was to assess the progress of the renovation activities, ensure conformity with project standards, and provide guidance where necessary.
During the inspection, Msgr. Prof. Obiora Ike expressed satisfaction with the level of work done so far in some areas, while also offering strategic insights to enhance the functionality and aesthetics of the centre.
He commended the efforts of the contractor, provided more clarity on how to better the on going works and emphasized the importance of completing the work on schedule to allow the centre to resume its full range of development programs.
